Start Bodice Asembly
Time: 12 minutesCenter front, middle front , side front panels are now seamed. The seam allowance on the princess seam is discussed and the importance of maintaining the bust curve. The center back and side back are seamed and piping the edges takes place. I’ll also grade the top of the bodice at the peak to keep that top edge smooth for topstitching.

Attaching The Bodice To The Skirt
Time: 14 minutesI’ll be positioning the bodice and then whipstitching it to the skirt in the ditch of the basque and net line. If you know what embellishments you want for your bodice and plate, it’s easiest to stitch them on before you attach the bodice to the skirt. Your tutu, if following along is finished!

Time: 4 minutesMeasurements are checked again and the side seams are now stitched. Your bodice is now complete and ready to add to the skirt.
