Piping Construction

Time: 5 minutes

Piping a bodice edge is the easiest and cleanest way of finishing a bodice. The bias allows the fabric to curve and give just a little. The piped cord looks fancy and does double duty to hide the attachment stitches to the basque when you stitch in the ditch. The piped edge can be hand stitched on the backside of the bodice or machine top stitched.
