Embellishing A Tutu Plate
MEMBERS ONLYSIGN UPEmbellishing A Tutu Plate: Finish Plate And Attach To Tutu
Time: 5 minutesThis video course walks through making a plate for a 2 piece costume. The skirt was once used under a longline Russian Academy tutu. I use the concentric circles mat from Tutus That Dance to lay out my design and sketch it onto a piece of net. Appliqués are then free-motion stitched to stabilize pieces of fabric to create the petalled design. A mock basque was created and the new plate was incorporated.
